At Diverge, we seek to promote a healthier community where access to high quality of care and maximizing your health and performance is our top priority.

How are we different?

We see treatment, and your health, differently at Diverge.  We feel that our hands are our most effective tool.  Rather than rely primarily on passive treatment modalities, we prefer a hands-on approach where we can see, feel and treat your problems directly. Providing you with individualized exercises that you can then complete at home will reinforce your treatment and get you the results you want faster.  You can expect to receive extensive one-on-one hands-on treatment followed by instruction of functionally based exercises specific to your condition.  Time for questions and discussion is allotted at each visit, so that you have a complete understanding of your problem and the direction of your treatment.  Through this approach, our clients achieve better results in a much faster time period.

When you consider the time savings of fewer trips to the clinic, the personalized attention you receive and the value of resolving your problems quicker, you are truly getting the “biggest bang for your buck” at Diverge.

Our Team

Dr. Matt Longfellow PT, DPT, SCS, USAW

Founder / Director of Physical Therapy

Matt is a leading physical therapist in Columbus, Ohio and founded Diverge out of a need for a higher standard of Physical Therapy care, where the focus is on the whole person in front of us.

In his mid-20's, Matt found himself suffering from chronic lower back pain and was told "there was nothing wrong" and nothing that could be done...except to stop doing thing that hurt.

That's when he was introduced to the world of physical therapy. After implementing what he learned, he was back to moving and living pain free. As someone who's been through it, he understands what it's like to be worried you'll never be able to enjoy being active again. It's both mentally and emotionally draining, and it just doesn't have to be that way.

It's scary when you feel like you're never going to get back to being active, especially when your doctor only offers painkillers or injections and tells you there's nothing else that can be done.

Too often, people don't get the care they need in today's profit-centered healthcare system. Diverge is a patient-centered clinic, and we're here to make sure you get the care you need, exactly when you need it.
